What you find out

Where you stand. What it means. What to do next.

One session at your Snap tournament turns into a clear picture of your player's game, so you are not guessing about where they are or how to get better.

1

Where you stand

Scores for each test show exactly how your player compares to others their age and gender, across every country we have tested. Numbers, not opinions.

2

What it means

A detailed report ties every score to your player's position, so you know which numbers matter and what they say about their game.

3

What to do next

Use your results to adjust your training and reach your goals. If you want help getting there, we can provide 8-week plans you can run on your own.

For coaches and team managers

Bring your whole team.

Schedule your roster for one testing slot, Friday night or about two hours before a game. Everyone tests together, and you get a clear team view of how each player performed and how they compare.

Scheduled around your games

Test Friday night, or about two hours before your team's game. Not tested Friday? Your team tests before its first game Saturday.

Like a warm-up, not a workout

Testing is light and does not affect game fitness, so it takes nothing out of your players before they play.

A team view of the results

See how your players rank against each other and the rest of the field, grouped by age.

Every player keeps their profile

Scores, global rank, video, and a full report for each player, saved to their account.

Objective numbers for coaches

Spot strengths and gaps across the roster in measurable data, not opinions.

Across the season

Coming to more than one? Watch yourself improve.

Test at more than one Snap tournament this season and your results carry over. Every test adds to your history, so you can see exactly how you are improving from one tournament to the next.

Players: see your own trend

Your scores build a season-long history, so you can watch each category climb tournament to tournament.

Teams: track the whole roster

Coaches can see how the team is developing across the season, not just on a single day.

The drills behind the numbers

See the tests your scores come from.

Every score traces back to a real drill on the field. Here is what each one looks like, matched to the three categories on your results.

Speed

Straight-line sprint

Pure acceleration over a set distance. How fast a player covers ground from a standing start.

Agility

Change of direction

Cutting, turning, and reacting under control. How quickly a player can stop, plant, and explode again.

Ball control

Close control and touch

Handling the ball at speed in tight space. How clean a player stays when the pressure is on.

What you get

Everything you take home.

Get tested once at the tournament and walk away with the full Skillmasters profile: your scores, a report, a plan, and a recruiting profile. Here is what every player gets, with the full details on the players page.

Objective results, not opinions

Every test is measured the same way and benchmarked against players in your age and gender group across the country. You get one global rank plus a score for Speed, Agility, and Ball Control.

A report that explains your scores

Every result becomes a plain-English report tied to your position. It tells you what each number means on the pitch, where you are strong, and exactly what to work on next.

A training plan built from your testing

Your scores turn into an 8-week plan that targets exactly what to work on, in 30-minute sessions you can run with a ball and some cones.

A profile coaches can evaluate

One shareable link puts your player rating, testing data, academics, and highlight videos in front of any college coach, and logs every conversation automatically.

Why it matters

Games show what happened. Testing shows why.

Testing helps a player understand why they perform the way they do. Because it is standardized and objective, it is a better way to track real progress over time than a weekend of games.

A weekend of games
  • Different opponents, fields, and conditions every time
  • Hard to compare one weekend to the next
  • Tells you the result, not the reason
Skillmasters testing
  • The same tests, measured the same way, every time
  • Objective numbers you can track across the season
  • Shows why a player performs the way they do
Only at a Snap event

See how you compare, on the spot.

Testing anywhere gives you your scores. At a Snap tournament you also get a live leaderboard, so you can see how you stack up against everyone there, grouped by age and updating all weekend on the on-site screens and in your app.

Questions about tournament testing

Who can get tested at a tournament?

Any player at a participating Skillmasters tournament. Look for the testing area on-site when you arrive.

How does the tournament leaderboard work?

Once you are tested, your scores post automatically to a board for your age group, updating through the weekend. You can see it on the screens at the event and in your Skillmasters app.

Is this different from regular testing?

It is the same objective testing we run at any event, plus the live tournament leaderboard on top. You still get your full scores, global rank, video, and report.

Can I bring my whole team?

Yes. Coaches and team managers can schedule the whole roster for one slot, Friday night or about two hours before a game. Testing is light, like a warm-up, so it will not affect game fitness. Each player still gets their own profile and global rank, and you get a team view of the results.

What if I test at more than one tournament?

Your results carry over and build a season-long history, so you and your coaches can track improvement across every Snap tournament you attend.

Do I keep my results?

Yes. Everything saves to your Skillmasters account with your global rank and full report, so the leaderboard is a bonus on top of what you take home.
